Full-Arch Implant Replacements

Let’s Improve Your Smile

Missing multiple teeth along your upper or lower jaw can affect your oral health and self-confidence. At White Oak Dental, Dr. Owoc and our team will work to ensure your smile dreams are fulfilled with an optimal treatment just for you.

When you visit for your consultation, Dr. Owoc will first perform an examination to check on your oral health and discuss which tooth replacement option is right for you. If you’re missing more than one tooth, have healthy gums, and a strong jawbone, he’ll typically suggest a full-arch implant solution.

This solution offers maximum stability than traditional bridges or dentures since implants are securely attached to your jawbone to provide adequate support. With a full-arch implant bridge or denture, you’ll live with a natural-looking smile that requires a good hygiene regimen and regular dental checkups to last up to a lifetime.

Are Implant Bridges Different Than Overdentures?

A full-arch bridge and overdenture are similar in the sense that they’re both used to replace a row of teeth in the upper or law jaw. The major difference between the two treatments is that overdentures are removable. A full-arch implant-bridge is completely fixed to your jaw and you won’t ever have to detach it at night.

Each solution uses four or more dental implants to secure a restoration to your jawbone and provide you with a complete smile. Luckily, both options offer incredible benefits as they protect your overall oral health and enhance your appearance.

Benefits of Full-Arch Implants

Although dentures are a very common option tooth replacement solution for many, they don’t offer the same benefits that a full-arch does. Dentures don’t integrate into your jawbone and don’t act like a tooth root, so your jaw is very likely to lose bone density.

A full-arch replacement will help stimulate your jawbone as and protect it from further bone resorption. Other benefits of this long-lasting restorative treatment include:

  • No more adhesives from dentures
  • Eat your favorite foods again
  • Speak with confidence without worries
  • Enjoy a more comfortable, customized fit
  • No more sliding or shifting teeth from a traditional denture
  • More cost-effective than using single implants
