Frequently Asked Questions

How much do dental implants cost?
Is the dental implant procedure painful?
How much do dental implants cost?
The cost of dental implants varies depending on the details of your specific procedure such as the number of implants placed, and the type of restoration used. During your initial consultation, Dr. Owoc will examine your oral health and create a customized treatment plan that will include a breakdown of the cost.

Insurance may cover a portion of the expenses. We recommend contacting your provider prior to your appointment for any questions regarding the details of your coverage. If there are any questions we can answer, don’t hesitate to contact our office by calling (412) 664-1112 and a helpful team member will be happy to assist you.

At White Oak Dental Associates, LLC, we offer flexible financing options to help make your treatment as affordable as possible. With flexible financing, you won’t have to wait to get the care you need or feel left in a pinch.

Is the dental implant procedure painful?
The majority of patients report feeling discomfort, not pain. During the surgery, you’ll be under local anesthesia and won’t feel a thing. If you suffer from dental phobia or a low pain tolerance, oral sedation is available on a case-by-case basis.

We’ll be sure to closely monitor you throughout the entire treatment to ensure you’re pain-free and comfortable. Following the operation, you’ll experience some discomfort, but it can be easily managed with over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen and a cold compress to help with swelling.
